NAME
       ABCMusiEX - manual page for ABCMusiEX 0.9-2

SYNOPSIS
       abcmusiex [OPTION]...

DESCRIPTION
       GNU ’abcmusiex’ generates music score and audio exercises for improving musical score reading.

OPTIONS
       -t TEMPO
              tempo (20-300, default TEMPO=60)

       -b BEATS
              beats (2-4, default BEATS=4), metric numerator

       -w WIDTH
              width (2, 4 or 8, default WIDTH=4), 2vs, 4ths or 8ths, metric denominator

       -k KEY key, default KEY=C

       -c CLEF
              clef, default CLEF=G

       -n QUANTITY
              number of bars to generate, default QUANTITY=162

       -o FILENAME
              output filenames, default FILENAME=exercise.*

       -l LEVEL
              level, only use 1 to 4: default LEVEL=2; 1 is 1/2s, 2 is 4ts, 3 is 8ts, 4 is 16ths

       -d DISPERSION
              dispersion (distance from last generated tone, in notes), default DISPERSION=3 notes

       -T TITLE
              title

       -C AUTHOR
              author

       -W COMMENT
              comment words

       --triplets
              include triplets in exercise

       --dots include dotted couples

       --rests
              include rests

       --sharps
              generate random sharps

       --flats
              generate random flats

       --legato
              generate random legatos

       --min I
              minnote, default I=2; low-low-C=0; low-C=7; C=14; high-C=21; high-high-C=28

       --max A
              maxnote, default A=21; low-low-C=0; low-C=7; C=14; high-C=21; high-high-C=28

       --seed S
              seed start, 0...10000, default S=0

       --stage STAGE
              generation stage: 0(abc), 1(+mid), 2(+ps), 3(shows .ps), 4(plays .mid, default), 
              5(+wav, neither show nor play), 6(+mp3), 7(+pdf)

       --nometro
              does not generate metronom click

       -h, --help
              shows this help

       --version
              shows version

EXAMPLES
       abcmusiex --help
              shows this help

       abcmusiex -l 3
              generates an 8ths exercise

       abcmusiex -t 100
              generates a tempo 100 exercise

       abcmusiex -n 10 -c F
              generates 10 measures on F key

       abcmusiex -T "Exercise 1" -o exercise1
              entitles exercise
